The supplied manual identifies this infrared heater as IP65 rated for outdoor use. Follow the manufacturer's installation, use and maintenance instructions.

FAQ
Does it need a special outlet?
Yes. It needs a 220–240V~, 50/60Hz outlet on a dedicated 220–240V circuit. Have a licensed electrician install it and confirm the breaker size. It can also be hardwired.
How much area will it heat?
About 160–215 sq ft (15–20 sq m). Coverage depends on mounting height, wind and how enclosed the space is, so expect a little less on an open, breezy patio. Larger spaces may need more than one heater.
How does it compare to propane?
The MUS1522 uses electricity rather than propane, so there are no propane tanks to refill. Operating costs depend on your electricity rate and heat setting.
Will multiple remotes interfere?
No. Each remote controls the heater it's pointed at, so multiple units can be used independently.
What kind of infrared heat is this?
The SunWave uses short-wave infrared from Patented Gold-Coated Quartz Tungsten Heating Elements. It warms people and surfaces directly rather than the air, Coverage and comfort depend on installation and conditions. It's a low-glare infrared heater, so there's no harsh red or white spotlight on your patio.
Will the light be too bright?

What replacement parts are available?
The 3000W heating element (HE0003) and the replacement remote are sold separately and fit the MUS1522 only.
